School Council
Our school has a school council. Our school councillors have been chosen to represent their classes as part of a formal election process. This involves submitting an application and explaining in a prepared speech why they should be selected. Class members then have a ballot to select their representatives for the year.
Our school councillors support in many different activities throughout the school year. This may include representing the school at local activities and events, supporting in the writing of child-friendly versions of school policies, considering fundraising and what they can do to make the school the best place to be. Our school councillors have regular meetings and will feedback to their classes the work they are doing.
This is a very prestigious role within the school and our children learn many different future life skills within this role.
