Our children love playtime and are supportive of each other at this time.  In order to support continued growth, independence, social development and responsibility, each day two 'Playground pals' are selected. 

These children wear a special tabard and walk around the playground with a clipboard, writing the names of children who have particularly impressed them over the playtime period.  This may be through sharing, helping others, choosing to play with a new friend, making good choices or even playing a brilliant game!  At the end of the playtime period, the playground pals present two children with a sticker for their good work.

This encourages children to make good choices at playtime, support each other, encourage each other and recognise positive play.
