We celebrate all reading opportunities at William Lilley and we are keen for children to share their love of reading with others. 

Each year, children within year two have the opportunity to apply for our school Librarian positions.  Within this position, children are able to support others to make an informed choice of reading for pleasure books within the school library.  The school librarians ensure the library is well-organised and ensure children are given information on their choice of books.

Our children visit the local Stapleford Library on a regular basis, helping them to develop their awareness of recent and engaging children's literature which can help to inform choices.
